Lehar’s light opera tells the story of Lisa, a young countess, who falls madly in love with a Chinese prince. They marry and are set to live happily ever after when she discovers he has been deceiving her, and leaves him.
Lisa will be performed by Caroline Trutz, an English singer, and the production will be directed by Jack Gervais. The production team and soloists are professional, the chorus are committed amateurs.
