In his recent interview with Allen in ‘Vanity Fair’ Hollywood insider / historian Peter Biskind reflected on Allen’s 35 movies and thought ‘Match Point’ was worthy of inclusion in the 10 best ever Woody Allen movies (he included ‘Manhattan’, ‘Annie Hall’, ‘Broadway Danny Rose’, and ‘Husbands and Wives’).
Critic Roger Ebert calls ‘Match Point’, one of the five best films of Allen’s career with an ``ingenious plot’’ about ’’social climbing and snobbery.’’ Please note - it is a dubbed a morality thriller not a comedy!!
The very supportive CRAIE will be closed December 24 -January 1 for the festive season. Please note this so you don’t waste a trip to buy tickets!

Thanks also to the many of you who have sent me emails of appreciation and support for starting PECC it is great to have positive feedback. I started PECC because I thought there was a need for regular movies in English and you have shown that was the case. Hope to see you at ‘Match Point’ in 2006!
Sarah
PS Thanks to the over 115 of you who came to ‘Broken Flowers’! For details on how to buy tickets, prices etc please see earlier articles.
